Red Hat 9 play system at rcf is available at rplay21.rcf.bnl.gov and
rplay10.rcf.bnl.gov

At the request of PHOBOS, Red Hat Linux 9
has been installed on rplay21.rcf.bnl.gov
with a modified glibc supporting the
version of Oracle they have in use.
Experiments considering an upgrade to 
Red Hat Linux 9 are encouraged to test
their software on this system in order
to verify compatibility with the 
modifications.

Please submit any difficulties you 
experience through CTS.  If no problems 
are found, rplay10.rcf.bnl.gov, the
Red Hat Linux 9 experimental system
without a modified glibc, will be made
unavailable.
