Hi Christian, Thanks for the "common base class" update. Maybe we can even make it a common chkv base class, since the photons are generated the same way in the different chkv detectors. Or, we could choose the easy solution and just put it in BrChkvParameters (I know it's ugly, but it would be a quick fix and it would work). > Is there any reason why we don't let GEANT generated the Cherenkov > light in C1, C4, and RICH? I don't think anyone really knows how to make photons in GEANT and since we can do the job as good ourself, why bother? But you're more than welcome to look into it. For the mirror, I don't think it matters since we don't care about what happens behind the RICH. Unless it goes back into the detectors of course, but I think the chance for that is very small.
