Hello, I installed the new monitoring software (as well as all of brop) in the operator account. I tested it by reading a file and it seems to work as I envisioned. I hope everyone else will find the same. To summarize again, here is what happens. 1. When autoprint is pressed, in addition to going to the printer, all of the autoprint canvases are dumped to /opus/home/operator/public_html/MonitorSummary/Rxxxxx/ along with index.html 2. There is a new button on the MonitorCanvas which dumps the canvas to a gif file. That would be used to dump "interesting" canvases somewhere where they could then be pulled into elog. Since I have not personally seen elog work yet, this feature might need some tweaking to make it more user friendly. I can use feedback for that and will see it with my own eyes when I go to BNL the next time for shifts (assuming we can run after 31-Jan) 3. There is another new button on MonitorCanvas to close the canvas for someone who might wish to do that. It does the same thing as clicking on the x at the upper right hand corner. Now you don't have to move your mouse so far to the upper right hand corner when you have a nice handy button right there. Enjoy Kris
