Hi, I've just realized that someone changed BY HAND the DetectorParameters.txt file pointer in the masterReduction.sh script in the bramreco account. This script was written mainly for easing the job submission in a production mode for the 2001 data. If someone wants to use it for e.g. the 2000 data, this someone _MUST_ make his (her) own copy with the stuff (s)he wants. All the 2001 runs I've reduced (fortunately not many) used the 2000 setup. The DCs don't depend on that, the TPC do. This is clearly BAD. There was a discussion not long ago about the good or bad of having these files lying around. At least, someone should clean up the bramreco account ASAP (remove the crap, update software, etc) and specify precise and explicit rules on usage (we are quite a few to have access since it's not possible to use the crs farm from another account). Wild usage are not acceptable. Please, clear this up ASAP. Djam PS: if anybody changes anything like the thing I'm complaining about in the bramreco account, then WARN people! -- Djamel Ouerdane ------------------------------------------o | Niels Bohr Institute | Home: | | Blegdamsvej 17, DK-2100 Ø | Jagtvej 141 2D, | | Fax: +45 35 32 50 16 | DK-2200 Copenhagen N | | Tel: +45 35 32 52 69 | +45 35 86 19 74 | | http://www.nbi.dk/~ouerdane | | ouerdane@nbi.dk | o---------------------------------------------------------o
