At the liassiona meeting today it is now believed that some internal hpss (enabling disk cache) has been solved and that the new system is ready at some level to be used.
The hpss is attached with 'new' tapedrive thacan store data at 3*density (and read old data too).
The crs farm can be used again - but please try to load it resaonably i.e. do not submit too many jobs at once - I suggest max a few hundred at a time (NOT runs) sequence
