When such an update (particularly one as important as this) is made, it
would be very nice if the version of
BRAG (or BRAT, for that matter) on AFS were updated.  I think that right now
in the so-called 'new'  we have brag 1.1.8.

lenghts have also been updated
  to the values in the table in thye previous e-mail. This implies that when
you use version 1.1.10 of Brag
  you will get/use the same effective lengths as in the geometry DB.
