    Hi Steve,

I'm replying now (2:00 am) because I had to come back to my office 
where I could get a spare key for my place (forgot my home key, I was 
locked outside when I came back home!!) 

Concerning your problem, as you can see in your test program, there's no 
mainDb->ConnectToParam() (this method does not exist), which means that 
you still have to use the ascii parameter file:

  
BrParameterDbManager::Instance()->SetDbParameterFileName("DetectorParameters.txt");

This should fixe your problem :)
