Thanks for the support should it become necessary to re-populate the Calib DB scratch; Base on the e-mail from Christian, I am though exploring how to 'aapend another row'(feasible) as well as reading all rev. and update them (both in regard to add a type filed as perform a proper swapping of the ascii stored data). This does not seem to hard, but requires a bit more coding and checking (with a copy of the Main+CalibDB). At present my estimate is that by sometime early next week (Tuesday?) I would like to freeze all access for several hours to the DB, and at that same time update Brat with the modified DB routines (from db/abc and db/calib). Access following that will require an update to Brat. This schedule should take palce wheter or not an automatic update is to take place. ------------------------------------------------------ Flemming Videbaek Physics Department Brookhaven National Laboratory tlf: 631-344-4106 fax 631-344-1334 e-mail: videbaek@bnl.gov
