    I put the package in CVS, installed the needed Perl packages in
    
      /afs/rhic/opt/brahms/pro 
    
    and installed BRAC in the same tree.  It'd be really good if Betty
    could use that installation instead of the one in  
    
      /afs/rhic/opt/brahms/carrusel 
    
    since, then we can remove all the odd installations and only have the
    "pro", "new" and "old" trees.   
    
    The Perl module is installed in 
    
      /afs/rhic/opt/brahms/pro/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/hpss.pm 
    
    and the Perl script (formerly hpss_user.pl - now brac) is installed in 
    
      /afs/rhic/opt/brahms/pro/sbin/brac
    
    since, Flemming says it's mainly used by various system services.  
    
    The version of BRAC is 1.0.2 and it's tagged as BRAC-1-0-2.
