    No it doesn't, since the functionality hasn't changed, only the name
    of the calibration parameter manager (which you do not use in
    configuration script anyway).  If you find some incompatiblity in your
    script, why don't you try run brconvnames on it - usually you should
    see "no change" - if not, then you're using BrParameterElementManager
    somewhere in your script - which is not the intention in the first
    place. 
    
    In fact, you said it yourself a few days ago when I proposed to change
    the names.  So don't go spreading bad vipes - peace man :-)
    
    I tought about doing a minor version update, but I decided against it,
    as the functionality hasn't really changed.  What has changed is the
    abstraction level (more abstract than before) which does not affect
    the users directly. 
    
    That said, I don't mind if you do a minor version update.
