Hi I have been trying to throw pions through the FFS but seems to hit something, either right before or right after D1 50% of the time, even though I throw in a very narrow p,theta, phi region. The strange thing is that if I use Pawels old gbrahms I get the expected behaviour where almost all pions make it through T1 and T2. I have compared the 2 magnet files produced by gbrahms and they are identical. There is a slight offset <2 cm of T1 and T2 in the geofile, but that should not change anything. If I go through the geometry using dtree it seems to me that the only difference is that the calibration chambers have been removed in brag and if I compare the files in src/fms1, the only difference is the small changes to T1 and T2. Does anyone have an idea ? I have made a small test script that I used and added that and the necessary files as an attachment. It works fine for both gbrahms and brag and shoot pions 1 by 1. Cheers Peter You will need the init.kumac from the brag you use (in share/brag) to run the test. Do brag and then exec test. -- :-) --------------------------------- )-: |Peter H L Christiansen aka PAN @ NBI | |EMAIL : pchristi@nbi.dk | |OFFICE : Tb1 @ NBI | |PHONE : 353 25269 | |SNAIL : Hans Tavsensgade 35, 4th | |PHONE : 35 349336 | :-D --------------------------------- \-:
