Hi BRATs, I've updated BRAT, and bumped the revision number: Version: 1.15.9 CVS Tag: BRAT-1-15-9 This could very well be the last revision of the 1.15 series. I believe 1.15 is rather stable now, so I guess that we could make 1.15.9 the production version. Ofcourse, someone might commit minor changes before 1.16 and the new production version should then be that revision. However, my feeling is that the next thing will see in BRAT, is updated/restructured vertex classes (Bjorn), updated/restructured TPC/Tracking classes (Peter), and I'll soon change the TMA/SMA RDO classes (as advertised previously), so the next release should be a minor version bump to 1.16.0, thereby starting a new development cycle. I hope that we'll switch to BRAT 2 shortly, so in all likelyness, 1.16 will be the last of BRAT 1. Anyone who's not using ROOT 3.00/06 I strongly recommend start using it ASAP. For those of you that are using Redhat and/or Debian GNU/Linux, you now (as of ROOT 3.01/00 I believe) have neat feature for installing ROOT, that is you can build RPMs or Debian packages directly from the source. Checkout ROOT from CVS and read README/INSTALL. Now the list of changes in BRAT: * Modified Br[Tile|Si]TmpCalibration to read the cantrality parameters from an ASCII file (if avaliable) rather than using hard coded calibration constants. * Added two such files params/mult/smacent.dat and params/mult/tmacent.dat. The calibrations in those files was done with: * Run 2481 (160 sequences only due to size of BrSiRdo > 4kB) * Trigger 4 + 1 or more hit in the TMA above threshold (min. bias) * |Vz| < 45cm, obtained from the ZDCs (rational, see BAN22) * Outlier correction in both BrSiRdoModule and BrTileRdoModule set to kNoCorrection (AFAIG, this is what Steve says give the right result) Avaliable cuts are 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50% * Added class BrMultRdo with nested classes BrMultIndividual and BrMultRing, as outlined in previous mail. Notice that these classes are not used yet and not included in the library. This class (or classes) will be used by both BrTileRdoModule and BrSiRdoModule to store first pass data. Therefore, to get hold of the right object, one must be sure to use the right name. More on this as I develop it.
