Let me just make a comment to this. I urged Yury to make publically available 'a version' of a RdoModule that can be used for all by important issue\ of looking at TOF response etc. I should be considered a work-in-progress and will be replaced as calibration (DB stuff) gets properly included. The idea that this should be used by all for the BB stuff rather than individual modules. flemming ----- Original Message ----- From: Yury Blyakhman To: Brahms_dev Sent: Monday, October 23, 2000 6:41 PM Subject: BB TimeZero and VertexZ Hello, everybody. I've commited new version of BrRdoModuleBB. It now uses all Beam-Beam Counters to determine TimeZero and VertexZ. All calibration data it reads from the BrCalibrBB.dat in /params/bb/ directory. This calibration parameters must be loaded by the BrRdoModuleBB::Init() function. I also changed BrNtupleBB files to refelct new TimeZero calculation by the Beam-Beam's. It doesn't have TimeLeft and TimeRight any more, instead it has direct values of TimeZero and VertexZ. BBValid condition is still set for the case when Beam-Beam's are able to determine t0. Files changed and commited: /bb/inc/BrRdoModuleBB.h /bb/src/BrRdoModuleBB.cxx /online/ntuple/inc/BrNtupleBB.h /online/ntuple/src/BrNtupleBB.cxx /params/bb/BrCalibrBB.dat Thanks and hope it all works out, -- Yury Blyakhman. \\\|/// \\ - - // ( @ @ ) +------------------------o00o-(_)-o00o-------------+ | New York University Phone: (212)998-7762 | | Department of Physics Fax: (212) 995-4016 | | 4 Washington Place E-mail: | | New York, N.Y. 10003 Yury_B@physics.nyu.edu | | Mobile: (646)528-7187 | | Home phone: (718)934-1851 ICQ# 2330402 | +--------------------------------0ooo--------------+ ooo0 ( ) ( ) ) / \ ( (_/ \_)
