During the update of the BrDigitize yesterday I could not but note that in the case of the TOFW the code generates seperate datatables for each of the presently 4 panels TFP1,.... This implies that the simulation code generates a different datastructure than the BrRawDatainput and thus that simulated and raw data are not identical. The TOFW rawdata are defined as being one BrDataTable of name "DigTof TOFW" and with slats counted 1..81 presently and increased to about 120-130 once the new panels are added. I understand that the PID code needs to know about the panels for the purpose of geometry, but this can easily be known by a simple transformation from slatno to panel. The monitor code correctly assumes the TOFW data struct. I encourage that this gets modified asap so the simulation is in accordance with the raw data, such that we do not have this discrepancy between real data and simulations, when we hopefully soon can look at track vs TOF matching. regards Flemming ------------------------------ Flemming Videbaek Physics Department Brookhaven National Laboratory tlf: 631-344-4106 fax: 631-344-1334 videbaek@bnl.gov
