Ian (and all on the list)
The only way I have tested the root file generated by save as reference is to
read it in with the other button, namely the one that says read reference
file. Pressing save as reference simply writes the current BrSuperMonitor.
So if you want to read it in, all you will have access to is the
BrSuperMonitor which has all of your information, but is not very accessible
to you. In writing these routines, I only made provisions for using that to
overlay onto current histograms. The information you want is, of course, all
in there. But BrSuperMonitor distributes it to the added monitors which in
turn use the lists to eventually get to the actual histograms.

What you want to do is logical and useful. I will give it some thought on how
to make it easy to do with these files or provide another easy way to do it.

The short answer to your question is that you can't do that right now.
