Hello, This message is to let you know that I have enhanced the monitor software to include the ability to overlay reference spectra. There are several changes, some of which you might notice if you make a BrSuperMonitor. 1. Two extra buttons appear in the top part. What they say is obvious. One is to read a file of reference monitors. The other is to save your current monitor in a file to be used as reference monitors. 2. The overlay reference spectra button on the top has been activated and works at least in the tests I did. If you have displayed a picture, you can click on ovelay reference spectra and if you have read them in, they will be overlayed in red. The color scheme is going to be enhanced. The important point here is that an overlay is done. 3.An extra (default:empty) argument has been added to the constructor to specify a reference file to read in during the constructor. This is usefull if the file already exists. It can just be read in immediately and saves a few mouse clicks. These enhancements required changes to BrSuperMonitor, BrBaseMonitor and BrMonitorPicture. The changes have been checked in to the repository, but have not been exported to and compiled in the brahmlib account. If you want to play around with it, you need to export brat from the repository. If you have time to play with it and notice some problems, it goes without saying to let me know. Kris
