At the weekly RCF meeting the issue on testing of the RH6.1, arla (AFS) and NSF 3 combination on the play machines was brought up again. If the experiments within the approximate next 10 day agree that the configurations works well the plan would be to install this config on a significant fraction of the crs and cas machines to perform some more heavy testing. The machines for testing are -- play2.rcf.bnl.gov , play3 and play10 (play14 is said to have a Arla problem still). For us to test it would be usefull if a root and brat version for RH6.1 could be installed in the Brahmlib area.(Kris?). Once this is done we could checkout some sample running etc of code.
