I will have a detailed agenda later, but the plan of this workshop is to combine discussions with "real work". So we plan to meet for discussions in the morning and to do some work on the computers in the Rhic Computing Facility (RCF) in some kind of practical way in the afternoons. The goal of this work would be to get some tasks started for further work when we return home. The areas we are now planning to concentrate on are as follows: Using the RHIC machines in the RCF environment. (practical) Becoming familar with general tools (discussion + practical) Becoming familar with the details BRAHMS GEANT (discussion + practical) Discussion on the "new" object oriented SONATA (discussion) Raw data structures (discussion) Getting more people involved in the software effort (discussion + pract???) Anyone in the collaboration wishing to participate in this workshop is highly encouraged to attend. As mentioned above, a more detailed agenda will be sent later. Kris
