We outline a method to estimate the centrality of a Au+Au collision
at
BRAHMS using the scintillating plastic tiles of the
multiplicity array. It is shown, that to obtain a centrality cut in
the most bias-free way, one
must take into account the wide
spread of the primary collision vertex, as observed during the
summer 2000 run and explained elsewhere.
